The Literacy Shed is a great resource for Primary School teachers and many of the resources, videos and images could be adapted for the ESL classroom. There are some magical imagines and inspirational short films to motivate learners. New sheds have been added. The spelling shed could be useful for teaching phonics.

The elllo website has a variety of resources including audio and videos, together with a 'Teacher Tips' section which advises teachers of how these resources would be used..

The www.pobble365.com website has always been a favourite of mine. There are so many wonderful, magical images which could be used as stimuli for writing or talking in the classroom. There are also lesson plan ideas and story starters which could be adapted for ESL learners.

Mercifully Short Reviews provides short film reviews which could be incorporated into an ESL reading activity.

The Secret Door - Step Through To The Unknown…A great stimulus for a speaking activity or each just a starter to a lesson. Go through the door with students and go somewhere new. Students can describe their surroundings.

www.tes.com is a great teaching resource. I used it a great deal as a Primary school teacher however there are many resources which could be used in an ESL classroom.
